Smaller Droplets Are Better for Greenhouse Evaporative Cooling
February 15th, 2010 . by adminThe new system of cooling greenhouses has been used with much success. Because the droplet size is so small the water evaporates very quickly and does not stay on the plants like the larger droplets from older systems. The small droplets from the greenhouse evaporative cooling create just enough fogging to give the plants the liquid that they need and no more. Much of the time the larger droplets from the older system stays on the plants and creates diseases and ends up costing the grower a lot of money from crop loss. The newer smaller droplets can save time and money.
