This eliminates alot of the getting used to it or people having to learn their way around the interface. Microsoft has been around since the beginning of the software revolution and brings some amazing things to the point of sale system interface. Many people who use it get the hang of it immediately and become proficient at the program right away. This saves time when training new employees on the point of sale interface!
Oh, and don't get me started on the prehistoric POS(point of sale system) blockbuster uses that would crash and lag everytime it rained outside.
