Once I had the unfortunate experience of getting blamed for something that wasn’t really my fault. I had lent my girlfriends laptop computer to a buddy of mine. His was broken, or so he says, and he needed to finish a report for school. Turns out his not broken, just filled with spyware and adware, so it was frozen. When I told him all he needed to do was to run an adware remover, he seemed to be happy. That’s when my girlfriend found out I had lent out her computer, and she didn’t even want to hear the reason why. She was angry at me for at least a week after that. I’ll never do that again, boy let me tell you.
