At the 2004 Olympics Games in Athens Paul won the men’s first-ever all-around title and also helped his team win a silver team medal. For his efforts, Paul was voted the 2004 Spirit of the Flame Award winner and runner-up for the 2004 USOC SportsMan of the Year Award. Paul Hamm is the son of Sandy and Cecily, and has a twin brother, Morgan, who was also on the 2000 Olympic Team. The brothers made history as they became the first twins ever to compete in the same Olympic Games gymnastics competition.
