The military is always looking for new and innovative ideas to improve the effectiveness of its troops to give them every advantage on the battlefield. There have been studies into the use of kite boards and the sport of kite surfing in general as a new form of quick and silent, untraceable transportation for military elite units, such as the Navy SEALs. The constant search for better ways of quickly moving troops and other areas of research is a top priority for the military, especially in this time of war against terror. It will be interesting if these studies will prove fruitful, and we come to see exciting ideas implemented to help the men and women that protect our country.
