As chairman and CEO of any organization, it is vital that one must have had a remarkable education and work experiences to successfully lead.  This can certainly be said of Fuad El-Hibri, who serves as chairman and CEO of Emergent BioSolutions Incorporated.  He was born in Germany and spent his childhood equally between the Middle East and Europe.  His college years were spent primarily in the United States where he was awarded a degree in economics from Stanford and MBA from Yale.  His upper management position began with Citigroup and from that point, he has risen to his present position with a leading biopharmaceutical company which specializes in developing vaccines for many of the leading infectious diseases around the world.
