The cost of using a church merchant account

May 11th, 2008 . by admin

I am hoping somebody out there can help me. I have been put on the task of finding out more information about getting a church merchant account. This type of processing is the norm within other business practices and most of us are very familiar with using electronic fund transfers for paying our bills and such. In some of the research I have done I’ve found that there are different pricing structures for this service. It seems as though everyone takes a small percentage of the transaction amount, however I found a lot of variances. If you are attending a church that uses electronic giving, please let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

Your church was the first one of your particular denomination to apply for a tax exemption certificate in that jurisdiction?

But I remember seeing in New Orleans at least one church with a sign that said, "Fifth" something or another "Church." A specific variant of Baptist, but not sure enough of which one to say.
