There are many people in need of low income health insurance.  Choices are affected by income, expenses and the number of family members to be covered.  Many people who need this type of insurance will usually take care of themselves, self medicate to save the costs of visiting a doctor in order not to increase their premiums.  A number of states currently offer low income health insurance and certain guidelines are spelled out that must be met in order to qualify.  Because of having low wages, may people do not participate in an employer sponsored health care and resort to living without insurance.  These individuals still may qualify for low income health insurance.  Drugs can be provided at a reduced cost and individuals who don’t quality for regular health insurance should check on whether they do qualify for low income health insurance to make their lives and the lives of their family much healthier.
