Holidays are Important
February 18th, 2010 . by adminIn my classroom, holidays are important. They give the kids something to look forward to. I always plan a party, and my favorite one to do is Halloween. We make our own costumes to wear on that day, and we plan dozens of different games and activities. We also do a play every year and take it to the other classes in the school. As soon as I take out the Halloween Countdown calendar, my students start getting excited. It is hard to get them to work, because they are too busy talking about what they are going to do. However, I still think it is more than worth it.
