Contractor Internet Sales: Why You Need To Keep In Contact With Your Prospective Clients

March 21st, 2009 . by admin

It is vital to have a website for your contracting business in today’s economy.  But once you have your website up and you are collecting email addresses, then what?  Well it doesn’t do you any good to get a potential customer’s name and email address and then just ignore them.  That’s going to defeat the purpose of setting up a website for contractor internet sales. Numerous studies by some of the most brilliant internet marketers around show that it takes time for someone to build trust online.  Remember, you aren’t getting the chance to dazzle these people with your winning personality face-to-face!  The research shows that it often takes 10-15 contacts before someone feels comfortable enough to do business with you.  And when I say, ‘contact,’ I don’t mean that you are harassing them repeatedly about using your services.  On the contrary, you should be giving them solid, useful information without the expectation of getting anything in return.
