A Virtual Trip To China
May 1st, 2009 . by adminWhen our exchange student from China came to stay with us, we knew that she was feeling homesick, and we wanted to help her adjust to our city. We took her around to some tourist spots that she enjoyed, and also to a baseball game. After we got home, she asked if we would like to see what her home town was like, and she pulled up some china stock footage online and we were able to see her city. It was like getting a guided tour, and after we were done watching, we could tell that her spirits were lifted and she wasn’t feeling as homesick anymore.
