For me one of the most important things about any kind of tableware is that it is as functional as it is beautiful, because it is no use having flatware which looks good but which is difficult to use when it comes to eating your food. Because of this reason I have always held Dansk flatware in high esteem, because it is very easy to use, and seems to fit into the hand with a really good balance. However, although it is easy to use, it is stylish enough to become a conversation point at one of my dinner parties, and for me that is always one of the biggest compliments when people actually notice the tableware that you have used.
