My nephew is only a few years younger than me. We are more like friends than relatives. He just got married, and his wife thinks she is an expert on everything, including parenting. She’s not the best person to be giving parenting tips. She does not have custody of her children. She is divorced, and she had custody of her two boys when they first split up. Then, she gave the boys to her ex husband. She gets them every other weekend and once during each week. She likes telling me what I should and shouldn’t do regarding my children. I bite my tongue and smile, when I really want to tell her to sweep off her own back porch before pointing out how dirty mine is.
