Make sure the leather is still intact. Make sure there are no rips or tears in the leather.
Make sure to clean in between the cushions for any items a child could have put in there or that could have fallen out of a pocket. This will help protect you and the furniture from damage.
Inspecting your furniture should be done when you clean the furniture. If you find a problem, check your furniture warranty or call someone to repair it if you cannot.
