There are certain places around the country right now that the houses are extremely good deals. The only thing is that several of these places are not somewhere a retiree would want to live like downtown LA or hurricane alley in Florida. I found some great deals on Hill Country Real Estate and ranches that are perfect for a person that is ready to settle down a little. The scenery is beautiful and secluded but still only twenty to thirty minutes from a thriving city where there is plenty to do. It might be the best deal out there for a person retiring.
