I love the fragrance of cherry wood, makes nice ukuleles too! A few years ago I brought back some Cherry wood I got from an Amish timber cutter in Michigan,(my then father-in law lived in the countryside next to the Amish settlements, It was great, my kids played with their kids for 2 weeks and I got to ride in a Buggy!!) anyhow, I chose a piece I could fit in my suitcase!! That wood is now air dried and will be used later this year….
