The term “entertainment” as it is explained in the MSN Encarta dictionary is the “various ways of amusing people, especially by performing for them.” However, not all activities that provide you with entertainment can be called as entertainment. Activities such as playing your most loved sports and escapades and literature reading are often included in entertainment but these acts are more suitable to be named as recreation.

There are numeorus ways to be entertained and amused. Some forms are as follows: films, circus , comedy, dance, games and musicand many more. Other famous and common forms and acts of entertainment are the following broadway theatre, leisure, radio, television and magic.
