Use Echinacea Early

September 23rd, 2008 . by admin

Defenders of echinacea say that in order for it to be most effective, you should take it at the first sign of a cold. This makes sense to me, as I have had the same experience with Vitamin C. It helps me “nip it in the bud” if I take it as soon as I suspect I’m about to come down with a cold, but it doesn’t seem to help if I wait until after the symptoms set in. I would certainly be willing to try a product like Solgar Echinacea in place of or in conjunction with Vitamin C the next time I felt a cold coming on. That would be like giving those cold germs a one-two punch.
