DHA an Omega-3 Fatty Acid that is Good for Kids

June 5th, 2008 . by admin

DHA is an omega-3 fatty acid found throughout the body. It accounts for up to 20% of total brain mass and it is particularly important for children’s growth before the age of 5 years. While many leading health authorities and pediatricians recommend 150 mg a day for children, most kids only get 20 to 30 mg. Registered dietitian Elizabeth Somer says, “Parents need to understand the importance of DHA and how to easily get the nutrient into their children’s diets to ensure optimal growth and development.”

when u count the fatty acid chain from one end of the chain,i dont remember which one,n u get the first double bond on 6th carbon then such fatty acids are called omega 6 fatty acids……if u get on the 3rd carbon then those are known as omega 3 fatty acids

Lil Wayne you suck, you are the living proof that American economics allows even talentless hacks like you to make it rich. It is a huge shame good artists like Biggie and 2pac are dead while you help ruin rap.
