Dangers Of Passive Anger

December 29th, 2007 . by admin

Passive anger is far more pervasive in our society then active anger. The detriment of those involved often times goes unnoticed as a problem and is instead passed off as a simple attitude problem.

Unfortunately, there is nothing simple about the dangers of passive anger or its many manifestations.  Unlike attitude problems which can come and go, people with passive anger issues find themselves subconsciously performing certain actions that can cause difficulties in their day-to-day lives.

Because passive anger is so pervasive in society today, some of its manifestations have actually become somewhat socially acceptable to the point where it no longer raises eyebrows.  Unlike people affected with active anger issues, who cannot be ignored, it is easy to overlook some manifestations of passive anger. Unfortunately, this can result in fueling the individual to perform further acts of self-destructive passive anger.
