Paintball barrells are a part of a marker

September 5th, 2010 . by admin

Paintball barrells are a part of a marker and are used to direct the paintball as its fired. Barrels come in a plethora of options ranging from bore to length. Most barrels screw into the front reciever of the marker where the thread of the marker must match the thread of the barrel. Paintballs range in caliber from .669 to .695 and paintball barrells are made to match the paintballs, although they may fluxuate in diameter or “bore” to suit players personal preferences. Barrels come in different lengths as well, ranging from 3 to 21 inches (not including custom barrels). Players usually pick barrels between 12 and 16 inches for a happy medium.
