As a Christian, I really, REALLY dislike these books. Not just because they're badly written, but because they've taken the book of Revelations (which is the most trippy book of the Bible- the whole thing is a DREAM the guy had!), and completely bastardized it and blown it all out of proportion. A lot of stuff in the Left Behind series is human interpretation, imagination and assumptions made by Christians who adhere to a particular viewpoint and are pushing it on everyone else as though it is fact.
Also, the Rapture is not mentioned in the Bible. Once again- human interpretation.
