How safe is a download?

September 13th, 2008 . by admin

How do you know if you are downloading safe content from the internet? With new viruses being developed everyday, how can we know something is safe? I recently did a search for the best registry cleaners and got dozens of results for the same site. It is a free download, and I started to install it but my computer asked if I was sure and that it did not have a “recognized code.” Suddenly I was not so sure. What if this was a clever scheme to get me to download a software program that carried a virus that would kill my computer. I would not be able to live with myself.

hr management software

September 9th, 2008 . by admin

Most companies employ anywhere from 4-8 Human resources personnel (not major corporation office building but on site management HR offices) that can do an extraordinary amount of record keeping and administrative management tasks. The do this because of hr management software that is both easy to use and powerful to implement in the internal network. Without this type of software companies would have to hire more employees and resources to do the same job. Using the computer and cleaver management software is not only efficient and cost effective it is extremely important to a companies productivity and growth. How they did all this before computers I don’t know.. I wouldn’t want to have to work back then!

Weather Proof PDA

September 6th, 2008 . by admin

I do not take my electronics swimming with me but I have been known to get them wet.  I have been caught out in the rain more than once with my Handheld Rugged PDA and gotten it soaked.  I can not count the number of times that I have dropped the thing and  watched it bounce on the street.  Incidentally I am not on my first PDA. They now make a rugged model PDA that sounds like it was made to order for me.   It is called a rugged PDA and is shock resistant and weather proofed to the point it can survive a four inch an hour rain storm. This may be my last  PDA.

As I was web browsing, I stumbled upon this on a Xbox 360 Blog. It lists the best selling games for the major international markets. Check this out.

Xbox 360 North America: 1. Tales of Vesperia — Premium Edition (Namco Bandai), 2. Tales of Vesperia (Namco Bandai), 3. Madden NFL 09 (EA Sports), 4. Too Human (Microsoft), 5. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 (EA Sports).

Japan: 1. Tales of Vesperia (Namco), 2. Clannad (Prototype), 3. Too Human (Microsoft), 4. Soulcalibur IV (Namco), 5. Dead Rising — Xbox 360 Platinum Collection (Capcom).

UK: 1. Too Human (Microsoft), 2. Grand Theft Auto IV (Rockstar), 3. Beijing 2008 (Sega), 4. Halo 3 (Microsoft), 5. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 (EA Sports).

Both the regular and limited editions of Namco Bandai’s debuting RPG Tales of Vesperia manage to trump former North American Xbox 360 sales leader Madden NFL 09 in this week’s results. Too Human falls to fourth place, meanwhile, as Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 joins the chart at fifth.

Tales of Vesperia remains a top seller in Japan this week as well, though the recently released Xbox 360 port of Clannad provides ample chart competition. UK gamers place Too Human at the top of the charts in its premiere week, with GTAIV finishing close behind.

Building up a business to the point that it is successful and growing isn’t an easy task and you’ll be sure that there have been some computer server solutions implemented during the rise. With all of the factors that can alter the path of a successful up and coming business, the most frustrating has to deal with computers as they are the heart of nearly every modern business out there. Taking care of these promptly so as to limit the extent of damage done by the network being down though computer server solutions is the way to go as if they are done properly, they will likely not be a factor for quite some time.

The Windows Registry And Associated Problems

August 29th, 2008 . by admin

The Windows registry is a complicated filing system where Windows stores all the important preference and settings files for all the software and hardware that’s stored on your computer.  There’s no way to really thoroughly clean the registry by hand since the number of excess and orphaned files can number in the hundreds to thousands.  Instead we recommend checking out some registry cleaner reviews and picking out a good program so that you can keep your computer running smoothly.  Cleaning out the registry can definitely improve the speed and performance of your computer.  I recommend checking out RegCure by ParetoLogic software.

Viewtiful Joe

August 28th, 2008 . by admin

This game was amazing.  I do not think many people played it or even heard of it but it is truly a game you need to play at some point.  It is action packed with lots of fighting that lets you slow down and speed up action.  It is so cool on a lot of levels but you just need to play it to understand what I mean.  They made a version of Viewtiful Joe on PS2, which I never played but I heard it was jsut as good as the gamecube version which is good enough for me.  Check out this hidden gem now.

The Next Big thing

August 26th, 2008 . by admin

As an avid fan of video games, I try to stay up on all the latest things going on with video games. The newest thing that I have heard of has to do with Sony’s Xbox 360 interface. Apparently, the company is going to start giving away xbox 360 downloads for free! These downloads are going to be available over the gaming systems optional ethernet hookup. You will be able to get immediate upgrades, plus tips, graphics, and characters for a great deal of your favorite games. I am beside myself with excitement to see how this technology changes video game play.

Zune Marketplace on a Nokia phone

August 25th, 2008 . by admin

There are other rumors aside from the Zune Phone going around the mobile phone industry. Another rumor which seems to have just surfaced, is that Nokia may be designing their new handsets to work with Microsoft’s Zune Marketplace. Zune News says this handset will not be Zune specific, but is rumored to support functionality with the Zune DRM and store.

Nokia has long supported Windows specfic files, but has never touted Window’s Mobile Platform, instead preferring the Symbian platform. There is no time-line currently set, but a Windows developer stated that the integration of Zune into mobile platforms is inevitable.

A Boy And His Blob

August 24th, 2008 . by admin

Take a second to let that title sink in, A Boy And His Blob, this is the only kind of gem that can be found on the NES.  I really wonder a lot of times what people when they are thinking about the names to things.  Sometimes you have to wonder if they were on the influence of some drugs or something to come up with pieces of gold like that.  Goofy name or not, this game actually looked pretty decent.  While it did not set the world on fire it was at least a solid platformer for the original NES.
