I was so irritated with my husband last night. We had a big argument about getting a  new car. He got me a really nice Used Ford when we got married and it has been great. I’ve been getting more use out of my Used Citroen than I ever dreamed possible. I always pictured new-borns as little people who just sleep all the time, but it turns out that my particular baby is a very fussy one. Nothing calms her down like going for a ride in the car and so it seems as if every single night comes down to a long drive through the countryside near our home. It’s not quite how I pictured parenthood, but I’m actually learning to really enjoy those quiet moments we spend together in the car with the rest of the world shut outside.
