I never really got why adsense is so popular. If you do a search on google for something, it is hard to visit a site without seeing a big fat adsense square in the middle of the site. Personally, I prefer to monetize traffic through promoting affiliate programs that offer high comissions, or by selling my own product directly. Yes, this requires a little more work, and it isn’t just copy and paste like adsense. But the returns are almost always higher.
