When you start looking to buy a house, you soon discover that is a lot about the house buying you just do not know. I always thought there were agents and bankers, and that was pretty much it. I recently learned how wrong I was. There are bond originators, who kind of act as your personal assistant doing everything for you, mortgage brokers, who are experts at finding the right mortgage to suite your needs, bankers, who you can get a loan from without the assistance of any other expert (not recommended), and agents. As if the housing market wasn’t confusing enough, you have to find the person who is going to represent you the best.
