Wedding Music I Have Known

January 24th, 2009 . by admin

Not long ago I was flipping through several of my old albums and was surprised at how many weddings I have attended through the years.  With each picture I viewed it seemed that a song of the era would run through my head.  I knew this was because most weddings used bands or disc jockeys, for a memorable sound.  The albums reflected everything from a 1970′s hippie wedding in a New York garden to an Australian ceremony I attended, complete with a mobile dj melbourne style.  But, no matter where or when, they all included a lot of happy people, great music, and, of course, some amazing wedding cakes.

in weddings in medievil England, the phrase uttered by the priest "does any man object to this union? let him speak now, or forever hold his peace" originated. Any man who objected, could stand up and voice his objection as to why the marriage should not take place.
