If there was one piece of equipment my boys and I couldn’t do without at our shop, I would have to say it would be our portable crane. We absolutely have to have it in our line of work. We deal with a lot of raw steel material, as well as the manufactured product we produce. Much of this stuff needs to moved halfway across the shop, from one station to the next. This is why we use portable cranes. We do a lot of the work on our product while its still hooked up to the crane, then we just move it to where it needs to go. These cranes allow us to have all the flexibility we need with the safety we want as well.
