More Stock Market Investing Basics

March 18th, 2009 . by admin

Many investment advisors recommend having a minimum amount of one thousand dollars for investing in the stock market. Once this part of stock market investing basics is achieved, the next detail you’ll need to deal with is to decide which type of stockbroker or trading service best suits your needs. As the title implies, a full service broker provides the greatest benefit, but will cost the most in commissions. Next in the pecking order is the discount or online broker, who takes less commission and caters to the needs of the savvy investor who does not need the advice of a full service broker. Finally, there is the deep discount broker – basically an order taker who takes the least commission of all.
