I have always wondered why people would put a collar on their cat. I mean, you would never take a cat on a walk would you? Also, I thought cats could pull them off over their little heads. Maybe I’m wrong about that one, if you tighten it enough. I guess it all depends on if you want your cat to be able to breathe of not. Anyways, these cat harnesses I saw when I was checking out cat supplies seem to be a good answer to cat owner’s collar issues. It goes around the neck of the animal and behind the front legs as well, that way the cat can’t slip out. It also means you probably won’t strangle the cat when you pull on its collar.
