There was a time, not too long ago, when you could water your garden, fill your pool, and wash your car without giving it a second thought.  There are areas that have placed water restrictions on residents that prevent them for doing the things that have always taken for granted.  People that don’t want to be bothered by these restrictions are installing rainwater tanks.  Not only does this allow residents to use water as they see fit, but it’s the responsible thing to do.  Water is collected from rooftops and stored in the tanks for later use.  People that have the sense to install a tank like this can continue to wash their cars and water their gardens.
