Where the Gumpert Apollo began
September 17th, 2011 . by adminDesigners claim the look of the Gumpert Apollo is hard-wired so the car can be driven upside down through a tunnel when driven at sufficient high speeds (faster than 190 m. p. h.). Throughout April 05 the Gumpert Apollo started racing by contesting the Divinol Cup. The Apollo was steered by the Belgian race-car driver R. Maes and he finished 3rd on the racetrack at Hockenheimring. 3 years after this, Gumpert said they’d put forward a hybrid model of the Gumpert in the twenty four hours Nurburgring 2008, driven by the 2004 winner D Muller and ex Formula 1 driver H. Frentzen.
