My kids still talk about the time that our car caught on fire. We were driving down the road and started to hear some strange noises. I was dark, so my husband pulled over at a gas station so see if he could find a flashlight. He looked under the car and in the hood, but he couldn’t see anything so we decided to keep going. The noise stopped, so we thought the problem had fixed itself. Then we saw someone pointing to the tire as they passed. We pulled onto the side of the road and found that our tire was literally burning! Luckily, we had breakdown cover so we weren’t stranded. Otherwise, I don’t know what we would have done.
