Eastern Iowa tourism fueled by return of eagles

March 1st, 2008 . by admin

Eastern Iowa tourism is often enhanced by natural factors that happen in the area. Take for instance the rebound of the bald headed eagles in the area. Their comeback is well documented and they attract many people who come with just the expectation of seeing one of these noble birds soaring overhead. If they catch a glimpse of one taking a dive bombing run at the water to come up with a fish, well, that’s just icing on the cake. Those types of views are becoming more and more a normal thing as the population rises. More birds, more people, what could be better?
